HR/Payroll Administration Officer

The primary role of the HR/Payroll Administration Officer is to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, human resources administration and record keeping within legislative and company requirements.

About us:
Hazeldenes is a Bendigo based chicken farming and processing business.  In 2020 Hazeldenes completed its largest investment ever, building a new state of the art secondary processing plant in Lockwood to process over 800,000 birds per week.

As a family owned business with strong ties to the local community we are proud supporters of several community events and initiatives, and have been the pioneers of RSPCA Approved chicken –  bringing higher welfare standards to poultry production.

 The role:
The primary role of the HR/Payroll Administration Officer is to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing, human resources administration and record keeping within legislative and company requirements.

  • Obtaining the correct data for processing in all areas.
  • Processing payments within the correct time frame.
  • Generate any reports that are deemed necessary.
  • Ensure all group certificates are distributed by the required date.
  • Respond to any payroll questions.
  • Calculate termination payments.
  • Create new files for new employees.

This is a 0.6 FTE/22.8 hours per week position and flexible working arrangements are on offer.

  About you:

  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Demonstrable administration experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Eye for detail.
