Distribution Driver

Hazeldenes are looking for an experienced and safety conscious distribution driver to deliver food products on a multi-drop basis throughout metropolitan and regional areas to small and large retailers.

Our Company:
Hazeldenes’ is an innovative leader in the Australian poultry industry. We have cemented ourselves as one of Victoria’s leading food manufacturing companies, launching many of the country’s most innovative poultry products over recent years for some of Australia’s most renowned retailers.

The Role:
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, this role requires an experienced and safety conscious distribution driver to deliver food products on a multi-drop basis throughout metropolitan and regional areas to small and large retailers.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Multi-drop deliveries
  • Customer service
  • Unloading of products
  • Loading of return items including packaging and pallets
  • Delivery management including QA and consignment.
Position Description

About You:
To be successful in this position you will possess:

  • Current HC licence and able to work a flexible roster
  • Current Basic Fatigue Management certification or prepared to complete within 1 month of commencement
  • Experience working with food products
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet demands
  • High level customer service skills with the capacity to solve customer grievances with diplomacy
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Physically fit and able to lift at least 25 kg

Desirable:

  • 2 years truck driving experience in a delivery role
  • Current Forklift licence

An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Vehicle Maintenance team to manage and coordinate the maintenance of mobile plant, vehicles and all associated equipment. In this role you be required to provide high quality repairs and modifications while ensuring preventative maintenance tasks are completed with a high level of safety regard within the required time frame.

The Role:
An excellent opportunity has arisen within our Vehicle Maintenance team to manage and coordinate the maintenance of mobile plant, vehicles and all associated equipment. In this role you be required to provide high quality repairs and modifications while ensuring preventative maintenance tasks are completed with a high level of safety regard within the required time frame.

  • Working with your team on European, Japanese and American drive line trucks and a range of tractors, earth moving equipment, generators, forklifts, and refrigerated transport vehicles.
  • Implement systems of preventative maintenance on all equipment and machines
  • Uphold all Quality Assurance principles including the management and Supervision of the Truck Detailing department.
  • Accurate completion of all QA paperwork.
  • Resolution of unscheduled work requirements.
  • Organize and conduct preventative maintenance checks recording identified issues.
  • Purchase relevant spare parts and assist stores in identifying stocked parts
Position Description

About you:
To be considered for this role you must be committed to safety in the workplace as we pride ourselves on our Zero Harm goal.  You must also possess:

  • Relevant trade qualifications combined with Mechanical aptitude.
  • Awareness of the requirements of a vehicle maintenance workshop environment.
  • Chain Of Responsibility understanding.
  • Strong experience with the Microsoft suite, including Word and Excel.
  • MEX maintenance system experience would be an advantage.
