Broiler Farms

A combination of company owned farms
and contract farms are employed to produce Broiling Chickens.

85% of the Broiler Chickens are farmed within a 25 kilometer radius of the processing plant at Lockwood. Day old chicks are transported to the Broiler Farms by air conditioned truck, where they're programmed for production from 33 days to approximately 55 days of age.

Hazeldene's has extensive Free Range Broiler Farms at Murchison, located 100 kilometers east of the Lockwood site and 200 kilometers north at Sealake.

• HCF has accredited (FREPA) Free Range Farms at Murchison East and also Sea Lake

• Free Range Forage not Pasture.

• Free Range from their sheds in secure areas.

Free Range are not fed any Anitbiotics,
but we use a product called CRINA which is
a balanced combination of essential oil and spice extract of compounds in their natural/nature-identical form.

CRINA stimulates digestion which improves the digestibility of nutrients, and helps regulate gut microflora balance, thus maintaining healthy gut function and reduces intestinal disorders.
