Breeder Rearing Farms

Breeder Rearing Farms are located north of Bendigo at Bald Hill, where breeders are housed until approximately 20 weeks of age. Once they reach a required age, the birds are transported to the Breeder Production Farms where the birds produce eggs to be hatched as day old broilers.

Extensive Breeder Production Farms at Bald Hill and East Bendigo have the capacity to produces hundreds of thousands of eggs per week. The farms use the very latest technology to provide a controlled environment for stock which is fully automated in all operations.
