Duties include:

  • To on-sell daily specials to business customers
  • Make and receive inbound and outboard customer calls across all customer segments
  • To review customers service levels with business customers
  • To manage customer relationships
  • Customer visits to review presentation and range
  • Sales presentations for brand adoption
  • Sales reporting to review the success of new product launches and campaigns or identifying opportunities for development
  • To participate in key projects related to packaging, procurement, legislative requirements, and efficiency

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a customer service role, preferably in a sales oriented capacity
  • High level of customer service skills, including a commitment to follow matters up and resolve issues
  • Strong competency to operate Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Demonstrable ability to on-sell products and make proactive phone calls
  • Ability to call meetings, set agendas and minute meetings
  • Ability to follow process and obtain buy-in to new processes from internal customers
  • Ability to visit customers to conduct reviews and basic sales meetings

Truck Loader

Truck Loader

  • Lockwood (Bendigo) based

Working in our warehouse, this role is responsible for picking orders and loading our trucks for delivery. The shift commences at 5pm and continues until the last truck is loaded.

Loaders are required to pick, palletise and wrap orders ready for loading, and attention to detail is critical to ensure customer orders are accurately shipped. Appropriate paperwork must also be completed for each order.

Loaders use hand-scanners, forklifts, and electric pallet jacks in the course of their work and must have appropriate licences and training.

It would also be advantageous if applicants have some truck driving experience and relevant licences will be well regarded. The Load Out team drive trucks from the truck bays to the loading docks.

All staff must observe safe working practices and adhere to the Company OH&S policy and legislative requirements

Hazeldene’s is a large progressive family owned company based in Lockwood near Bendigo.

We are currently looking for an experienced and customer-focused delivery driver to join our distribution team to carry out duties including;

  • Multi-drop deliveries to distribution centres and customer sites both in Melbourne and regional areas;
  • Loading & unloading of products in and out of trucks with equipment and by hand as required;
  • Providing customer service;
  • Delivery management including QA and consignment paperwork.

To be considered, the minimum requirements are;

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills;
  • A current Heavy Combination Vehicle Licence;
  • Minimum of 2 years HC driving experience;
  • Current Fork Lift licence;
  • Physically fit and able to lift at least 25kg;
  • Current Basic Fatigue Management certification or prepared to complete within 1 month of commencement.

The delivery runs vary in length and destination and include weekend and night work using rigid and semi-trailer vehicles.

  • Ensure that daily KPI’s for the Warehouse performance are achieved/exceeded
  • Ensure that the Warehouse process flow is maintained on time and on budget
  • Analyse results to identify then deliver on improvement opportunities
  • Ensure employees have the information required to contribute as effective members of the team
  • Lead and deliver daily operational improvement, together with working with production management to support daily operation

The successful candidate will have:

  • 5 + year’s experience in a key leadership/management role is desirable
  • FMCG with Cold Chain experience is essential
  • Demonstrated knowledge in setting up and managing Warehouse Management Systems
  • Understanding of budgeting/expense management with a basic understanding of financial and accounting practices
  • Well-developed Microsoft Office Software (Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) experience
  • Ability to influence and inspire and excellent communication, relationship management skills
  • Experience across supply chain management
  • Ability to review processes, recommend improvements, build buy-in and execute with excellence
  • Ability to deal with multiple priorities and opportunities, in a fast-paced environment

The Laboratory Technician is accountable for:

  • Preparation of media for microbiological testing as required
  • Perform sensory evaluations on retention samples as required
  • Perform microbiological testing on product samples as required
  • Data entry of analysis of product testing as required
  • Perform any duties as directed by the Quality Assurance Manager
  • Performing routine maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
  • Liaising with departments on samples required

This is an important role and our ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Microbiology or Laboratory Technology
