Hazeldene’s currently has a vacancy for a Waste Product Operator to work in our Waste Water Treatment team.

    • Full time permanent position – 10.30am start
    • Fork Lift Required

Main duties include:

  • Driving trucks on site only
  • Moving waste product from the primary processing when required
  • Loading trucks with the forklift
  • General cleaning duties
  • Recycling of Plastic and Cardboard.

To be successful you will need to have proven forklift experience and a high regard for safety and traffic management. A truck licence is preferred but not essential.

Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor

Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor – Diesel Mechanic

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing Engineering Team.

As a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to supervise a team working on a fleet of more than 250 vehicles, including European, Japanese and American drive line trucks and a range of tractors, earthmoving equipment, generators, forklifts, and refrigerated transport vehicles.

This key role is responsible for leading a team to complete routine services & repairs, fault diagnosis (auto electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic) and engine & transmission repairs.

The Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor will also be required to still be “on the tools”. We are seeking motivated individuals with a positive attitude, who work safely, have the ability to solve problems, provide solutions and who want to be a contributing team member. Reliability Manager – Engineering Maintenance Team

We are looking for an experienced Reliability Manager to join our growing Engineering Team.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Reliability Manager will develop processes and procedures to drive and support an efficient Maintenance department. This will require leading and coaching the Maintenance team to deliver the agreed business goals and to deliver a three year vision by developing and implementing a strategic plan.

The successful candidate will have proven experience with a minimum of five to ten years in a Managerial Maintenance environment. Is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers and is capable of delegating work, setting expectations and leading and managing a team. The Reliability Manager is responsible for management of site reliability projects, preparation of annual budgets and is knowledgeable in current policies, practices, trends and technology. To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in either Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5-10 years experience in a Managerial Maintenance environment.
  • Effective project management and strategic management skills.
  • History in improving machine uptime and OEE – loss analysis –time & motion, FMEA.
  • High focus in reducing maintenance costs – RCA, OEE, Pareto analysis, PM routine.
  • Good understanding of CMMS – preferably MEX.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective project and strategic management with some experience in FMCG/Food manufacturing is desirable.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including team-management and problem-solving abilities.

We are looking for an experienced fabricator to join our growing Engineering Team. We are continuing to expand and are currently upgrading and revitalising our plant, transforming it into one of the most advanced food manufacturers in the Southern hemisphere.

Typically you would be responsible for:

  • Working within a team environment to perform the fabrication (either sheet metal or heavy fabrication of required machinery & equipment
  • Performing breakdown duties in regards to basic mechanical issues as required
  • Assisting with create repairs as required

  • Metal Fabrication trade qualifications – Engineering Cert III Level or above
