Hazeldene’s has a position vacant for a quality assurance cleaner at our Lockwood Processing Facility.

  • 7pm Start
  • 38 hours per week

The quality assurance cleaner ensures that all plant, equipment and surrounds are maintained to a high standard of GMP and hygiene, ensuring all areas are clean and tidy and ready for production.

The successful applicant will:

  • Be able to work in a safe manner
  • Perform thorough cleaning of mechanical machinery
  • Ability to identify potential mechanical issues
  • Apply chemicals safely following correct applications
  • Be able to work in cold, wet and misty conditions
  • Have a high attention to detail

Leading Hand – Primary Processing

Leading Hand – Spin Chill Department,

Hazeldene’s has a full-time opportunity within our Primary Processing area for a Leading Hand in the Spin Chill department. This position would report to the Primary Processing Supervisor and work closely with other internal Leading Hands.

Waste Product Operator

Waste Product Operator

Hazeldene’s currently has a vacancy for a Waste Product Operator to work in our Waste Water Treatment team.

  • Full time permanent position – 10.30am start
  • Fork Lift Required

Main duties include:

  • Driving trucks on site only
  • Moving waste product from the primary processing when required
  • Loading trucks with the forklift
  • General cleaning duties
  • Recycling of Plastic and Cardboard.

To be successful you will need to have proven forklift experience and a high regard for safety and traffic management.  A truck licence is preferred but not essential.

Reporting to the Technology Manager, the Network and Systems Administrator will be part of a crucial team providing support to the user community.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Tertiary Qualifications & a minimum of 3 years equivalent work history in a relevant fields.

  • Cisco certification is essential with excellent working knowledge of Cisco networking such as multilayer switches and VLAN’s, performance monitoring, WAP’s, Ethernet switching, QoS, VPN’s, firewalls, and Windows networking.
  • Expertise in virtual technologies, specifically VMware and a thorough working knowledge of backup and recovery technologies such as Veeam.
  • Experience in configuring and supporting SAN and storage systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and problem diagnosis across a range of connected platforms and systems, including telecommunications
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including an ability to present ideas in a user-friendly language.

Hazeldenes are seeking a reliable and motivated person to assist our Distribution & Warehousing Departments to move refrigerated trucks onto and off loading docks to assist in the timely departure of vehicles.

Additional duties may include general maintenance and cleaning of vehicles, and the delivery of products or movement of vehicles off-site from time to time.

As a person with experience moving/reversing trucks you must have:

  • A minimum of a Heavy Rigid Licence
  • A Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety and an understanding of traffic management principles

  • A willingness to undertake onsite training and assessment

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver to join our growing team. Hazeldene’s is a leading Central Victorian food manufacturer. Our Delivery Drivers are the face of our business, and work directly with our customers.

Duties include:

  • Leading Central Victorian food manufacturer

  • Multi-drop deliveries to distribution centres and customer sites both in Melbourne and regional areas;
  • Unloading of products in and out of trucks with equipment and by hand as required;
  • Loading of return items including packaging and pallets;

To be considered, the minimum requirements are:

  • Excellent presentation and communication skills;
  • A current Heavy Combination Vehicle Licence or prepared to obtain;
  • A current Heavy Rigid Vehicle Licence;

We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor to join our growing Engineering Team.

As a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic, you will have the opportunity to supervise a team working on a fleet of more than 250 vehicles, including European, Japanese and American drive line trucks and a range of tractors, earthmoving equipment, generators, forklifts, and refrigerated transport vehicles.

This key role is responsible for leading a team to complete routine services & repairs, fault diagnosis (auto electrical, pneumatic & hydraulic) and engine & transmission repairs.

The Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor will also be required to still be “on the tools”. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Reliability Manager will develop processes and procedures to drive and support an efficient Maintenance department. This will require leading and coaching the Maintenance team to deliver the agreed business goals and to deliver a three year vision by developing and implementing a strategic plan.

The successful candidate will have proven experience with a minimum of five to ten years in a Managerial Maintenance environment. The Reliability Manager is responsible for management of site reliability projects, preparation of annual budgets and is knowledgeable in current policies, practices, trends and technology.   • Tertiary qualifications in either Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5-10 years experience in a Managerial Maintenance environment.

  • History in improving machine uptime and OEE – loss analysis –time & motion, FMEA.
  • High focus in reducing maintenance costs – RCA, OEE, Pareto analysis, PM routine.
  • Good understanding of CMMS – preferably MEX.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of effective project and strategic management with some experience in FMCG/Food manufacturing is desirable.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills including team-management and problem-solving abilities.
